My Brilliant Career

Alfred Adler said: “The position in the family leaves an indelible stamp.” Adler’s ‘Birth-Order’ theory had observed how a child’s position in their family impacts on the child’s personality, behaviour, learning and ultimately their earning power. Of his theory, Adler states this works so well because we are social beings trying to find a niche in our social groups of which our families are the first of these units we not only belong to, but also have the opportunity to experience.

Evan

New guy

Hi Folks,

My name is Evan. I'm moving back to Melbourne in early August after being in the UK for 5 years. I swim in the pool fairly regularly and often do open water swims when back in Australia, so am looking forward to coming along and joing the club.

Best wishes,

Evan

Visist Paradise Bay with Me - by AquaMan

My name is Simon and I joined a swim squad, (Black Line Fever), for the first time in my life in August of 2007 to prep for the Corporate Games. (I'm now a registered AUSSI swimmer & joined the beautiful Glamourheads in March 2008.) I initially started swimming after quitting smoking, (now 5 years ago), and 8 months later found myself in desperate need of some exercise! I dabbled in a few other sports, before picking swimming as the activity I enjoyed most.

Strangely enough I was attracted… Continue

GLAM SECRETARY PERFORMS AGAIN !

There has been much interest in our very own Glam Secretaries Thesbian (yes !! THES-bian) and vocal performances coming up soon in Melbourne.
Nick will be playing "Karl" an ageing homosexual in the play "BURNT" at LA MAMA Theatre, Faraday Street, Carlton (opposite Brunetti's) from Sept 18th - Oct 5th

Nick is a 32-year-old chef with ambition. He aims to own his own restaurant in a fashionably alternative part of Sydney. He's intelligent, charming, affectionate and, when he can be, loyal. He works hard and earns good money. He's also a gambling addict. He's maxed out his credit cards, borrowed from friends, spent his girlfriend's life savings, and now he's back living with his mother. Gambling addicts are optimists destroyed by hope. His friends and family know they shouldn't lend money to Nick, but somehow he always talks them around. He knows it's wrong, that it's destroying his life, he knows he has to give up... and he will... when he has that restaurant. He just needs one big win. But where to get the cash? There's his mother's funeral money... but he'd never borrow that.
